Just a UX warning (if I did this, others could too): On lists like these I like to run through the entire list, middle-clicking my interests. When I get done with the list I close that tab and then look at the extra tabs that were launched. On each of these I clicked the photo… you know what I found in all of my tabs. An absolutely useless tab with the picture I clicked on sitting there.
Why would a user click on your photos with the sole intent of seeing a higher resolution version? They aren’t thumbnails in their usage (yes, probably in technically). Regardless, I’m sure my destination being a market that sells this template will have high-res images available or perhaps a live preview.
Now, I wasn’t going to make a purchase anyway – so no lost sale here; but how many others out there are now left with 3-4 useless tabs with that same image in them?
Back button doesn’t work, I could edit the address bar but do I really need to spend the $10-15 on this template right now? Nah… if I need to I’ll just find it later.
